The kids had amassed quite a collection of those toys that, when put in water for a couple of days, expand to 6 times their size or hatch out of an egg. On Monday, we put 3 of these into a container of water. Two are totally normal. This "cat", not so much.
Instead of getting bigger, it is covered in tumors. Perhaps this is why cats don't like to be bathed.
