Look closely at the picture if you will. See what I did? I followed the pattern for approximately 6 rows and said to myself, "This is easy. I don't need to look at the book for every row." Oh, don't I? Now there is one lonely row of diamonds that have knit stitches in the centers and the next time I was supposed to do that, I didn't. Genius! At least this whole blanket is just some crazy random sampler, so now I will just make another row of knit diamonds to make it symmetrical and bind off. I expect my children to follow directions and yet I am obviously completely unwilling to do that myself. The hypocrisy of it all!

I got too cocky yet again
