You, too, could go out on a snowy winter's day wearing a sweater and snow pants and start sweating to death and risking heat exhaustion. You, too, could start to wonder if the predicted high of 56 degrees has already been exceeded at 10:30am. You, too, could get home and turn off the heat and open the back door to let in some fresh air.
And you, too, could turn on your computer an hour later to find out that it is only 43 degrees. The same 43 degrees that if it happened 6 months ago would have sent you running for a parka and ski mask. And right now it feels like a day at the beach.
This is what happens when your perspective becomes skewed by days with lows of -12.
